Welcome to the China Adoption Statistics project. For over a decade we collected data on China adoptions and published statistics and graphs of referral waiting time and child's age at referral on a weekly basis. Since 2008, however, adoptions of non-special needs children from China plummeted, to the point where it no longer made sense to keep updating the statistics. You may still view the past statistics at the Current Statistics page, but new additions are not being added.
